Wprowadzenie

In the early 1980s, Wilfried Eibach laid the foundation stone for this now legendary line.

We still have before our eyes the "model list" (an ordinary A4 sheet of paper) from May 1986, which consisted of no less than 50 part numbers, all metric, all 60 mm Dn - nominal diameter.

The concept was of course right, and those first structures are still part of the entire program today.

On the other hand, this program is unrecognizable, today instead of 50 numbers we already have 1,300. Earlier designs have also been improved by optimizing materials and production, which also resulted in reduced weight.

This line is today the world's leading sports spring system, both in metric and imperial (inch) units, for virtually every possible race in the world. Only for a small percentage of exceptions do we design special springs, which for obvious reasons are more expensive and require a certain production time.

It is also worth mentioning that through almost serial production we have achieved high quality, linearity and minimal tolerances in all Eibach Race Springs products.

Decades of experience have enabled us to achieve the lowest mass and length of the block while simultaneously increasing the maximum deflection, block durability, linear course of the characteristic curve, the highest possible stability and dynamic durability.

Chassis adjustment with ERS springs

Every chassis adjustment is a compromise!

On the one hand, the suspension should be soft to even out the ride on bumpy surfaces and thus ensure constant wheel and tire contact with the ground, which ensures tire grip and traction control.

On the other hand, the suspension should be stiff enough to reduce body roll and vehicle "diving" when cornering, braking and accelerating.

To reconcile these two different requirements, our system offers an infinite number of possible combinations.
